My name is Wenjun Zhao. I am a New York City based graphic and web/interactive designer. After graduated from The City College of New York in Electronic Design and Multimedia major with B.F.A. degree, I had a chance working with the well-known art directors Will Hopkins and Mary K. Baumann at Hopkins/Baumann Studio. I mainly designed layouts for Kids Discover and worked on some other book projects.
I joined Time Inc. in 2008 as senior designer in Custom Content department. I design not only layouts for Advertorial sections in Fortune, Fortune Small Business, Money, Time, and Sports Illustrated magazines, but also work on web/mobile related projects.
In pursue of the interest in web and interactive design, I broaden my web design skills by attending several web classes in New York University, including HTML5&CSS3 and iPad Design. I am currently in process of getting Web Development Certificate in New York University, which will strengthen my web design skills with Javascript, jQuery and SQL abilities.
